She decides to go next door to the people that don't really like neighbors, then my daughter goes after her and leaves her horse standing loose. Well you guessed it, her horse Dream decides to run after Smokey. That's when Smokey decides to head for the barn and so does Dream as I'm trying to grab her rope. Well it all turned out great, but now they know their horses may not just hang around untied.
Mollyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17641833013859567549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5054478403634141699.post-11992503241824286622012-03-12T16:00:00.000-05:002012-03-12T16:00:05.392-05:00Tax Time
Yes, it's here, Tax time, IRS :( Well we all have to do it (or trouble) Every year I go I get nervous thinking we will have to really pay out this year, and so far that hasn't happened. We are just poor enough to make out ok.
My thought is...how can we spend it? My husband says save it! Well how boring is that? We always (need) something right? Extra money is always needed in most families, especially now days with gas prices and groceries going up every week. Just think about how rich we all would be if we didn't have to eat or travel. "Sigh"
Mollyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17641833013859567549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5054478403634141699.post-58448264022699233382012-02-26T19:05:00.000-06:002012-02-26T19:05:56.588-06:00I almost gave up!!
I guess you can't really give up on a good snow storm in Mn. It's bound to come sooner or later and this year it's later. I love Mn. because of the 4 seasons and Winter is my favorite. But I have plans for this week and now I will have to delay them. But...it will save me some money because I was going to the Casino, I still may go if the Weather changes. We normally have about 50" by now and I heard we have had only about 18".
How are you all doing with ill family members? It seems everyone I talk to has someone in their family sick with some kind of Flu, maybe we needed the snow to keep us healthy.

Well if I get to the Casino wish me luck and be safe everyone.
There was Bull riding, bareback horse bucking, saddle bucking and some fancy trick riding, it was a blast. We had seats in a Suite and the view was to die for. Thanks to Jill and her work we got these great seats. Not much happening in Mn. so far, hardly any snow and I do miss it. I am a real Minnesotan when it comes to Winter.
Mollyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17641833013859567549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5054478403634141699.post-66652288276155445372011-12-29T16:34:00.000-06:002011-12-29T16:34:02.801-06:00Goofy Kids

She is our 7th Great grand child totaling 21 Grand kids all together. I can't wait to hold her, that will be right after Christmas if the no snow weather holds out. Our trip would be from Mpls to Sioux Falls, So.Dak. It's been a good year here for shopping with no snow to keep us in. I am ready for Christmas now, well I'm done shopping and now to wrap. Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas I know I will.
Rocks!! Just came from their play, it was wonderful. These teenagers are so talented, I bet we will see their names on Broadway someday. Their voices were so great! The Band was also very good, and very professional, didn't miss a beat..I'm thinking we all should support these teens in all they do the hard work it takes to put on such wonderful entertainment.
Mollyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17641833013859567549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5054478403634141699.post-91607974323754922532011-11-28T21:56:00.000-06:002011-11-28T21:56:28.081-06:00Bring on the snow!!
Yes, bring on the snow, we need the moisture we are behind about 6". I do love the snow, I don't mind Winter, and we have to have snow for Christmas, that's why I live in Mn. I am way ahead of my usual cards out and shopping this year so I'm sure it will be much more relaxing. Now I should decide what I will bake so we all have a few treats (yummy) It will more than likely be cookies, breads and candy. And what's your favorite?
Mollyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17641833013859567549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5054478403634141699.post-51829932547364448582011-11-21T17:03:00.000-06:002011-11-21T17:03:36.411-06:00Jingle Jingle, Jingle all the way!!!
Well it's here the Turkey and Christmas Season is going full force. The stores have been decorating for at least a month now, like we are going to miss the Christmas Season. This year I think I will do better about getting cards out and shopping early(I hope) If you shop on Amazon just click on my banner and it will take you right to the store. Don't forget to check my new site www.pleasurexrr.com There you may find a delightful gift for your lover.
Mollyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17641833013859567549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5054478403634141699.post-86834945254650875822011-09-24T20:15:00.000-05:002011-09-24T20:15:22.387-05:00This is my favorite time of the year
The weather is cooler the first signs of Winter are in the air and it's time to get out the baking pans! I made a double batch of sugar cookies to send to my grandsons in Ms. I make the dough, freeze it solid and send it UPS. When they get it it will still be nice and cold. They roll them in sugar and bake them off. If I baked them first they would be cookie crumbs in a box because they are so delicate. Then I made banana bread and apple bread. I love the fact that all the wonderful apples are in season so out with the apple recipes. This is the time to start thinking about Halloween candy and then Thanksgiving Day. I think I love this time of the year it's when the families get together after a busy Summer. Then of coarse there is Christmas another very busy and happy time for most.We should still get our Indian Summer and watch the trees change into Mother Natures wonderful colors.
Mollyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17641833013859567549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5054478403634141699.post-36514910809123755222011-08-21T17:46:00.001-05:002011-10-25T14:18:06.784-05:00I Got Nothin
I have been trying to think of something to write about and I drew a blank. This is the time of the year that gets kind of idle here with no kids to shop for, all the gardening is done, ready to eat it or can it. Now the State Fair starts this week in Mn. Fun for all the Fair goers. We haven't been there for years, it's just to crowded for us and we sure don't need all that yummy greasy food. I'm having a garage sale this week at a friends house, OMG I didn't realize just how much (STUFF) I have to get rid of, well that's a lie...I have known for years! We have been here for 40 years and are trying not to leave too much for the kids to throw out. One good thing about cleaning out is finding things you have been looking for for years, lot's of fun surprises. I stay away from boxes of pictures or my day is wasted reminiscing. Everyone enjoy the weather and don't work too hard.
Mollyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17641833013859567549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5054478403634141699.post-26700912001279494282011-08-08T18:15:00.002-05:002011-10-25T14:18:56.545-05:00Little Farmer Part 2
The other day I posted the little guys picture and I wrote a story but this posting was not working for me, so here's the story. The farmer Xavier helped his mom carry the veggies up to the house in his back pack. Emptied it on the floor and started sorting it like Halloween candy (that's how his mom explained it) and eating it. He doesn't know yet that he shouldn't like vegetables like most kids do at this age. I'm thinking he will be the only other one that likes gardening like mom.
Mollyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17641833013859567549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5054478403634141699.post-68348470880402942292011-07-26T22:00:00.000-05:002011-07-26T22:00:18.355-05:00The Little Farmer

I have been busy watching my great grandson for 3 weeks and we spend most of the days outside. He is 3 years old and very busy which is probably the reason I lost 6#. Now I think if he stayed for a few more months I could be looking pretty good. Our Raspberries look like we should have lot's of them, they were planted last year, I hope to make more Jam, thanks to my grand daughter who gave the plants to us. We have relations here now from Texas, they think they need sweaters here. And I went to the Farmer's Market today, it's so nice to see all of the fresh organic veggies.
So what did you all do today?
This is pictures of my husband and 2 great grandsons with their horses, yes my husband Bob is really into riding now that he has his own horse. And it's true he talks more to her than me, I think it's because there is no back talk. These horses are all out to my daughters farm, and it's about 44 miles from us and with gas prices so high he doesn't get out there as much as he would like. Now that all the plants are planted all he has to do is mow the lawn that gives him more time for riding. Bob bought me a new weed whacker, cordless, self feed, the old one was always stopping to re feed the cord, what a pain and the cord had to be so long it was always tangled with something in in the yard. If anyone is looking for plant stands or shelves for their garden, check out my store http://www.gardeningwithmolly.com so how does your garden grow?
I can't imagine having that happen to my home. I guess I will just relax and wait for a nice sunny day to do some planting. I started some Seeds inside and they are growing really fast. Yesterday I baked 4 loaves of Rhubarb Bread, it turned out very good and yummy.
We found out our Apple Trees have some kind of black rot, so we have never had a season with good Apples. We just may cut them down. I hope my Pear Trees don't end up that way. Well back to doing nothing and I do that really good.
Mollyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17641833013859567549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5054478403634141699.post-81876860755932903472011-05-02T20:01:00.001-05:002011-05-02T20:04:15.681-05:00A Great May Day
May 1st. a day we will all remember as the day we won in finally bringing down Bin Laden, it will not bring back all the losses he made for so many Americans, but it's a start.
There are still so many of his followers out there we will be on guard in keeping our Nation safe. We planted Raspberry Plants last year and I'm anxious to see if they made it through the Winter.Just thinking about them makes me hungry for Raspberry Desserts. Our Pear trees are still small but look like they survived the weather.
Clematis is one of my favorite climbing flowers, we have white, pink, and purple. Now the purple ones get very big and thick so I try to keep them on our side of the Trellis but they sneak over to the other side for the neighbors to enjoy.
YOU CAN LIVE WITH A PERSON A VERY LONG TIME AND NEVER REALLY KNOW THEM.
THIS I KNOW FOR SURE BECAUSE OF MY HUSBAND BOB. IN THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS I HAVE LEARNED HE DID FARMING AS A KID WITH HIS UNCLE AND NOW HE'S INTO HORSE BACK RIDING. I RODE AS A TEEN BUT TOO MANY BAD THINGS WOULD HAPPEN, HORSE KICKING, RUNNING AWAY WITH ME AND DUMPING ME OFF SO I GAVE IT UP. WELL ANYWAY THESE NEW THINGS ABOUT BOB ARE CRACKING US ALL UP, BOB IS A MAN OF VERY FEW WORDS SO WHEN NEW STUFF CAME OUT ABOUT HIM, MY GRAN DAUGHTER SAYS WELL..MAYBE HE'S BEEN WITH THE WITNESS PROTECTION PLAN AND FOUND OUT IT'S SAFE NOW. MY FAMILY DOES COME UP WITH SOME FUNNY STUFF, IT'S BOB'S BIRTHDAY TOMORROW AND HE'S GOING FOR THE DAY RIDING WITH OUR DAUGHTER AND FRIEND, OUR DAUGHTER HAS HORSES SO THAT'S HOW IT ALL GOT STARTED. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOB......BE VERY CAREFULMollyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17641833013859567549noreply@blogger.com
